Havard's Agave is a slow-growing Agave from West Texas in the Big Bend area. It grows about 2.5FT tall x 3FT wide at maturity. It is one of the most cold-hardy Agaves in the world around -15 degrees (5a) and is known to have survived -20 degree weather in Colorado without leaf damage. It is similar to an Agave Neomexicana but one obvious difference is the Havardiana's wide leaves and different color. These Agaves need well-draining soil.
