My name is Angel Avelar. I was raised in Flower Mound, TX. Growing up my mother had a landscaping company, in which she taught me the basics of planting, designing, etc. In 2008 I moved to Fort Worth and started a very small landscaping company which did not last long. Fast forward 10 years I met my soon-to-be wife Ildeliza, where she helped me re-discover a passion I once had had for a particular plant called an Agave. We started buying agaves together, and when the agaves grew little "pups" we would pot them up for fun. What started out as a hobby we slowly turned into a business, and so we created our company Coyote Trail Nursery together. A lot of nurseries in the Southwest have significant landmarks that they can name their nurseries after. Unfortunately, we don't have any beautiful mountains in the metroplex, but we do have some yuccas and cacti that grow off the beaten trail where the coyotes may roam.
