This is known as one of the most cold-hardy Agaves, down to -15F. People are drawn to their cool greyish color which accents their dark maroon leaf tips. Agave Neomexicana translates to "New Mexico Agave" where they grow naturally but they're also native to West Texas. North Texans are replacing their large blue Agave Americana that use to survive our winters with Agave Neomexicana (and Agave Havardiana.) Needs good draining soil.
